Local fauna in the spotlight
Today, other people have become attached to the association and have joined the board of directors: Bernard Moirand as president, Jeanine Mazière as secretary and the treasurer is Claude Bernard. But we must not forget Sylviane Née as honorary president and Michel Nicolas is vice-president.
On Wednesday May 27, it was the inauguration of the exhibition which brought together around 20 invited artists, 80 works which were installed at the town hall. There were paintings, sculptures but also glasswork and pottery, all on the theme of local fauna. There was also, that day, a workshop discovery of the earth.
Exhibition, aperitif and concert
Thursday 28, among the highlights there were discovery workshops reserved for students of the La Chapelle school. Loulou led a workshop to discover painting and sculpture. The students had to make stone sculptures and a huge wooden snake. In painting, they had to paint foxes in pastel, each child, of course, according to their sensitivity. As for pottery, under the direction of Jeanine Mazière, the children had the choice between making an owl or a hedgehog. Everyone was surprised by the quality of the work done by the children. On Saturday, in addition to the exhibition, there were numerous activities. All day long, Bernard Mazière, Dany Nicolas, Bastien Albucher and Philippe Martin created animal sculptures with a chainsaw. Alain Dupuy, Loulou and Michel Née during this time created stone sculptures.
