The ARCHÉA Museum in Louvres

In Louvres, the Musée ARCHÉA is an archeology museum which preserves and allows visitors to discover the archaeological heritage of the Pays de France. Its modern and bright building invites you to explore the history of the area in a friendly and immersive setting.
During your visit, you will be able to observe nearly 780 objects, from 90 archaeological sites, which tell the story of the daily life of men throughout the ages, from prehistory to modern times. Models, videos and reconstructions make the visit alive and accessible to everyone, young and old.
The museum also offers temporary exhibitions, workshops and guided tours to explore archeology in an interactive way. A perfect visit to learn while having fun and enjoy a cultural outing with family or friends.

La Traverse, Alfortville Contemporary Art Center

La Traverse is a contemporary art center which invites you to discover current artistic creation in an open and lively space. Its dynamic atmosphere allows you to explore art through exhibitions, performances and installations.
You will be able to visit exhibitions by emerging or established artists, combining installations, performances, videos and new visual works. The center combines visual arts, music, dance and debates to offer a lively and stimulating artistic experience.
In addition to its permanent program, the center offers workshops, guided tours and meetings with artists, allowing people to better understand and appropriate contemporary art.

The National Museum of the Renaissance at Château d’Écouen

Located within the Château d’Écouen, the National Museum of the Renaissance is the only museum in France entirely devoted to this major artistic and cultural period. It offers a remarkable setting for discovering the art and know-how of the 16the century. Can be visited thanks to Line H, it is also one of the museums accessible with the RER D and that is why I chose to mention it to you!
Along the way, you will discover a rich collection of works and art objects that illustrate the creativity of the Renaissance. Each room of the museum invites you to immerse yourself in the artistic universe of the period. An ideal outing for lovers of art, history and heritage.
You can also enjoy the estate’s park and extend your visit with a pleasant walk in its gardens.
