Originally worn by Rachida Dati, the previous Minister of Culture, these youth cultural councils are directly inspired by “teen councils“Anglo-Saxons. They will have a “advisory role“ to play in cultural life andinnovative solutions“ to provide in terms of mediation, communication and programming.

This council of young people of culture will embody all the diversity of the territory, bringing together different profiles around a joint project. Through their curiosity and their taste for transmission, they will be keen to be “idea activators“ according to Marie-Christine Labourdette.

In order to preserve this wealth, the Château de Fontainebleau actively collaborates with partners such as educational establishments. Finally, this system fits more broadly within the framework of a government policy which aims to make culture accessible to all young people.
