Summer 2026. Music Festival: here is the program in the major cities of Lorraine

As the heatwave hits France, some municipalities preferred to cancel the music festival. This is particularly the case in Tomblaine, Amnéville, Frouard. In the big cities however, most of the festivities are maintained.

A Nancy

From 6 p.m., the city center will be transformed into a vast open-air stage where amateur and professional musicians will take over the streets and squares. Symphony orchestra at the Pépinière auditorium, French electro and variety music on Grande Rue, soul on Avenue Foch, disco on Rue de la Citadelle, Caribbean music on Rue de la République… All the diversity of genres and musical practices will be there.

To Metz

The Music Festival is one of the big crowd evenings of the year in Metz. The municipality organizes official stages on different squares: République (rock/hip-hop), Esplanade (blues/hard-rock) and Comédie (world music).

For the rest, trade associations play a driving role. Place Mazelle, the Outre-Seille association is at the helm. Concerts are announced from 3 p.m. to midnight, with food trucks and the opening of local artisan workshops (ceramics, etc.) In the Jardins district (near the cathedral), the party will begin in the morning with a giant flea market (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.) The concerts will also follow on the Porte desAllemands side, Les Frigos (former fortified space where it is cool!) will also organize a flea market all day long (called “Thank you dad!”). tango will be played and especially danced under the big top.

A Bar-le-Duc

The program promises to be rich and varied in the streets of the city, both in Ville-Haute, with the tavern of the castle and the Saint-Etienne church, as well as in the city center and its adjacent streets.

On y trouvera nomentament L’Atelier, DJ vinyl (électro, reggae, club) de 18 h à minuitÂat the Griesheim Terraces; an American rock group, from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Mouss’barisienne on Place Reggio, the CIM celebrates music at the City Hall park… The full program here.

A Verdun

Whether on the London Quay, at Japiot Park or even at the World Peace Centre, several places will let out positive and flowery notes, as is customary, this June 21.

A first meeting is held at Japiot Park, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the Haut les Cœurs choir, before the Systematik sets up its sound system until midnight. The heart of the city will not be left out, particularly on the Quai de Londres which will host Les Drop’s from 8:30 p.m.As music is everywhere, it will be possible to discover curiosities on every street corner or terrace of the Quai de Londres.

A Pont-à-Mousson

Concerts are planned in the evening, but also from the beginning of the afternoon and on both sides of the Moselle sincethe Charles Boquet music school organizes its music party from 2 pm at the Boulevard de Riolle. 

And the party will continue straight away, but on the other side of the Moselle. Winston-Churchill Square will also vibrate to the rhythm of music from 5 p.m. In the same way, around ten groups of artists will celebrate the music festival between jazz, blues and even rock.

A Toul

Among the highlights of this edition: the concerts of Laure Léna and Hardi-Petit at 100 Pression, the performance of Toni Skall at the Belfry, the concert of the Lyre Touloise in front of the Spar, the musical entertainment of the Leisure Committee, the DJ sets offered in several establishments in the city center.

Place Saint-Mansuy will also host continuous programming from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with four groups performing on stage.

A Lunéville

The municipality offers three events not to be missed, Place Léopold.The evening will begin with a zumba session, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by a concert by Ensemble Musaïk, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. To close the party in style, the group Cosmic Clic, a pop rock and folk tribute, will be on stage from 9:30 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. promising a great atmosphere.

The Ex-Symbols, an essential group composed partly of staff from the Bichat high school, will take the stage for more than the twentieth time rue Banaudon.
