The members of the New Loisirs solidarité rétraités (LSR) association offered themselves an enchanted break by heading to the Camargue and its unmissable Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. For some, it was a great first, the ideal opportunity to discover this jewel of Provence where the authenticity and preserved nature take your breath away upon arrival. Comfortably installed aboard the little local train, the happy group saw postcard landscapes pass by where marshes, bulls and proud Camargue horses coexist in perfect harmony, all punctuated by the captivating anecdotes of an inexhaustible guide on the history of the region. After a gastronomic break as tasty as it was friendly, but essential to recharge the batteries, the travelers swapped the rail for the waves by boarding the boat Le Camargue. This gentle cruise along the Petit Rhône, in the middle of an incredibly rich fauna and flora where time seems to have stood still, literally delighted all the participants. It is therefore with a head full of memories and big smiles that this magnificent day ended, not without a last word from the president of the association, Gérard Foulquier, who warmly arranged to meet all these beautiful people on Friday June 19 at the Jacques-Brel space for the monthly meal.
