XGIMI announces record funding of over $18.8 million for its new TITAN Black 4K projector series on Kickstarter.
The company XGIMI, specializing in intelligent projection technologies, announced this Wednesday the resounding success of its crowdfunding campaign for its new range of projectors, the TITAN Noir series. Launched in April 2026 on the Kickstarter platform, the operation raised more than $18.8 million thanks to the support of more than 5,900 contributors around the world.
This exceptional performance positions the TITAN Noir series as the most funded campaign of the year 2026 on the famous platform, demonstrating major enthusiasm from home entertainment enthusiasts.
A plebiscite of the international community
The founder and CEO of XGIMI did not fail to welcome this momentum from the community.
“We are delighted with the exceptional support the TITAN Noir series has received throughout the campaignâ€, Apollo Zhong declared.
He added: “This success demonstrates the enthusiasm of our global community and reinforces our commitment to pushing the boundaries of home entertainment. We look forward to providing our patrons around the world with the most advanced home theater experience yet.”
The first contributors who participated in the campaign will begin to receive their spotlights at the end of June.
Cutting-edge technology and sophisticated design
The TITAN Noir series aims to set a new benchmark in the field of high-end projection. It integrates advanced imaging technologies, notably the “Dual Intelligent Iris” system specific to XGIMI. According to the manufacturer, this innovation achieves a native contrast ratio of up to 10,000:1 and a brightness of up to 7,000 ISO lumens.
The range also promises high-level colorimetric accuracy (Delta E < 0.8) and 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color space. For video game enthusiasts, the projectors support a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz, ensuring optimal fluidity.
Availability and late pre-orders
Following the success of the initial campaign, XGIMI has set up a late pre-order phase (“Late Pledge”), open worldwide from June 9 to 16. This limited-time operation allows those who missed the campaign to reserve a model before the general public marketing. The prices for this phase are set in dollars:
- TITAN Black Max: $5,999
- TITAN Black Pro: $2,999
- TITAN Black: $2,699
The company specifies that the TITAN Noir Max model will remain exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign and this late pre-order phase, and will not be marketed through other sales channels.
The TITAN Noir Pro and TITAN Noir models will be available for purchase on the brand’s official website from next July and August, at the respective prices of €4,499 and €3,499.
