The Pakistani prime minister announced that the United States and Iran had reached a “peace agreement” that immediately ends all military operations in the Middle East, including Lebanon, with a signing ceremony to be held in Geneva on June 19.

“Now that the deal is complete, the mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These discussions prior to the implementation (of the agreement) will lay the foundations for technical talks and the official signing ceremony,” Shehbaz Sharif, a key mediator in the war in the Middle East which has lasted for several months, wrote on the X platform early Monday.
