For its part, the Lebanese national information agency announced a strike in Ghobeiry, one of the southern suburbs of Beirut. Three people were killed.
• Israel launches new calls to evacuate several localities in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army issued two evacuation orders on Sunday morning targeting around thirty villages in southern Lebanon, ahead of planned strikes against the Shiite militia. The army’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Colonel Avichay Adraee, published two successive messages on X, the second of which concerned localities located north of the Zahrani River.
• The “Charles-de-Gaulle” remains “in the area until further notice”. While some media report the departure of the French aircraft carrier from the Eastern Mediterranean to undergo a maintenance operation in Toulon, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces denied this information. “No Charles de Gaulle remains in the area until further notice.
