Like every year, the event will bring together many personalities from the big and small screens. Around fifty guests have been announced, including Jean-Pierre Castaldi, Francis Huster, Michel La Rosa, Gabrielle Lazure, Daniel Prévost, Astrid Veillon, Delphine Chanéac, Philippe Chevallier as well as several actors from the television series “Tomorrow belongs to us” and other productions broadcast on television.

Previews and meetings with the public

For four days, festival-goers will be able to discover film previews, an overview of French cinema, new series as well as numerous short and feature films. The screenings will take place at the Palais des Congrès in Cap d’Agde. They will be open to the public and free by invitation. Places can be collected at the Agde town hall or at the annex town hall of Cap d’Agde, subject to availability.

One of the particularities of the festival remains the proximity between guests and spectators. Each year, meetings, discussions and signing sessions allow the public to interact directly with the actors, directors and professionals present.

The Star casting of tomorrow alongside the festival

On the sidelines of the festival, a new edition of the Star of Tomorrow casting will also take place. Created by Patrick Jorge, author, producer, casting director and organizer of numerous events linked to cinema and television, this free competition aims to detect new talents and allow candidates from all backgrounds to discover the world of audiovisual.

Open to all, regardless of age or experience, the competition aims to be a gateway to careers in cinema and television. “The objective is to give a chance to those who do not dare or who do not know how to take their first steps in the audiovisual world”explains Patrick Jorge.

A region that has become essential for filming

For the creator of the competition, Occitanie is today a major territory for French audiovisual production. According to him, a large part of the daily series and many fiction films are now filmed in the region. However, many residents still do not know how to access the opportunities offered by this sector. For Patrick Jorge: “The competition aims to bring casting professionals closer to local talents through meetings, advice and role-playing”.

A novelty for teenagers

This 2026 edition will also offer a discovery casting workshop aimed at young people aged 13 to 18. This new feature will allow teenagers to discover the basics of the acting profession, the expectations of casting directors and how professional casting works. Registrations for tomorrow’s big Star casting are open until June 18.
