Novobanco, patron of culture in Portugal – Groupe BPCE

The Lisbon Design Week

Novobanco est mécène de la Lisbon Design Week (LDW) since it existed. This avant-garde cultural event focuses on contemporary collectible design as well as quality craftsmanship in Portugal, bringing together more than 150 designers from more than 80 locations across Lisbon. This year, novobanco strengthened its support for young artists thanks to the exclusive sponsorship of the initiative Young Design Generationan award whose winning projects are exhibited at the Lisbon Design Museum, aiming to encourage a new generation of creators and entrepreneurs in the field of design. Open to participants under 35 years old, this call for projects supports creativity, experimentation and diversity among young Portuguese designers or those living in Portugal. It aims to highlight projects reflecting the evolution of contemporary design as a cultural, social and ecological practice. At the same time, this initiative has always encouraged dialogue, critical thinking and new disciplinary approaches, thus becoming, over time, an essential meeting point for considering the future of design in Portugal.
