The United States has once again boarded an oil tanker. According to the US Middle East Military Command (Centcom), the ship was attempting to breach the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. The American army then put it out of service by firing on its engine room, as shown in the video sequence at the top of this article, to prevent it from reaching the Iranian island of Kharg.

After a similar episode last week, this is the sixth ship damaged by the American army as part of its blockade. According to Centcom, a total of 122 ships have been redirected to enforce it, since it was put in place by Washington in mid-April to respond to the Iranian blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
