Vianney is going through a particularly busy period. The singer recently completed the construction of his cabin, a place designed to accommodate part of his musical work, notably the recording of his next album. He is also preparing a tour planned for 2027, already partly complete, while his private life is also evolving: his companion Catherine Robert is pregnant with their second child. It is in this charged context that he spoke this Saturday May 30, 2026 on Instagram, on the occasion of World Multiple Sclerosis Day.
“There are many of you who have chosen to give”, s’enthousiasme Vianney
Very touched by this cause which concerns him personally, Vianney wanted to share a particularly moving message on Instagram on the occasion of World Multiple Sclerosis Day. The singer pays tribute to his mother-in-law who died of illness.
“On this World Multiple Sclerosis Day, I have a thought for all MS patients, and particularly for my mother-in-law who is no longer here and who still inspires me so much today. It’s for her that I chose to offer you the association @francescleroseenplaques, for a possible donation when you reserve your tour tickets. Many of you have chosen to give. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will obviously associate myself with your donations. Have a nice day”, a écrit le papa d’Edgar.
A cause he has supported for years
Vianney’s commitment to the fight against multiple sclerosis is not new. Already in 2023, the artist took part in Fort Boyardbroadcast on France 3, alongside Maëva Coucke and Laure Boulleau, in order to support the ARSEP Foundation. He then spoke with emotion of this woman whom he described as “full of joy, full of life“, disappeared a few months earlier, and had mobilized to raise funds, allowing more than 19,000 euros to be donated to research.
The same year, guest on RTL2, he also spoke about the seriousness of the disease, explaining that his mother-in-law suffered from a particularly aggressive form of multiple sclerosis which had greatly weakened her immune system: “She ended up disabled, paralyzed and left us this year“, he said, adding that he was deeply marked by this disappearance: “J’ai été très touché“. There is no doubt that the singer’s fans will support him as best they can in the fight against the disease.
