La Boissonneuse, a cultural structure based at a place called Le Bousquet in La Fouillade, is preparing to make the region vibrate with two major spring events. Between philosophical theater and the energy of traditional pubs, the programming for the next few days promises beautiful moments of sharing and conviviality, just above the greenhouses of Schipper Horticulture.
The festivities will kick off this Sunday, May 31 at 4:30 p.m. with a theatrical proposal to experience together. The Waaldé company will take over the premises to present its show for the general public entitled The Man Who Planted Trees. This adaptation, directed by Baptiste Relat and performed by Baptiste Jamonneau, offers a simple and powerful story, on the border between poetry and reflection.
For fifty minutes, the actor will transmit a message of universal hope, recalling the impact of these small daily gestures which end up changing the world. Inspired by the philosophy of hummingbird men, the piece demonstrates how everyone can, on their own scale and with humility, actively participate in preserving the beauty of our earth. This suspended moment is accessible from the age of 8 and ideal to share with family. In terms of ticketing, general entry is set at 10 euros, with a price of 7 euros for members and a reduced price of 5 euros for adolescents aged 13 to 18. Access remains completely free for children under 12 years old.
The excitement will continue the following week with the next La Boissonneuse service, scheduled for Friday June 5 from 7 p.m. For the occasion, the associative place will take on the air of an Irish tavern thanks to the arrival of the Porter and Stout group. Borrowing their name from two famous dark beers, strong and intoxicating, the musicians will recreate the warm atmosphere of Erin’s pubs in the heart of winter, where bodies smoke and the drink flows cold. Armed with banjos, guitars, percussion and soulful songs, the group will deploy a communicative energy. Their repertoire will oscillate between ancestral songs, energetic covers of Celtic rock and catchy traditional tunes. For this event, entry will be free but necessary, in order to support the artists and the structure. on site to extend the evening. The organization reminds that no bank cards will be accepted, payments must only be made in cash or by check.
