AJACCIO/PROPRIANO – On the program for Saint-Erasmus
In Ajaccio, the Saint-Erasmus festival will be held from May 30 to June 2 with a program combining meetings, gastronomy and concerts. On Saturday, the inauguration will open the festivities, followed by a debate on natural reserves, a bouillabaisse and a tribute to Antoine Ciosi. Sunday, craft workshops, debate on global warming and tasting will be on the program. Monday, time for a discussion on the future of fishing in Corsica, before closing on Tuesday, with a reception, a mass, a procession and a concert.
In Propriano, the patron saint of fishermen will be celebrated on June 2 from 6 p.m. with an open-air mass on the Saint-Erasme quay, followed by a procession at sea in the Gulf of Valinco, a reception and a concert.
BONIFACIO – Third edition of the Contemporary Art Biennale
The De Renava Contemporary Art Biennale returns for its 3rd edition with the exhibition “Nimu Dormi (Nobody Sleeps)”. This opus proposes to explore the theme of the festival as “Political and collective act, both a space of resistance and emancipation”. The event takes place around 5 locations at the heart of Bonifacio’s historic heritage: the Agora, the Cisterna, the Palazzu, the Impluvium and the French Barracks. On display: 14 international artists and 6 island artists and collectives. On view until November 5.
FRASSETO – A fiera di a Trinità revient 76 ans apr¨s sa premi¨re édition !
Organized by the A Frassitana association, A Fiera di a Trinità makes its comeback on May 30 and 31 in Frassetu, after 76 years of absence. Inspired by the discovery of a poster dating from 1950, this project led by young people from the village brings back to life a tradition linked to the patronal festival of the Holy Trinity. For two days, the fair will highlight the local rural economy and the region’s know-how. In total, 32 exhibitors, producers and artisans from the Piève de l’Ornano and the Taravu valley will present their products and creations. Visitors will be able to discover many regional specialties, including cheeses, cold meats, wines, beers, liqueurs, syrups, olive oils, breads, traditional biscuits and market garden products. Island craftsmanship will also be represented through cutlery, leather goods, jewelry, soap making and sewing.

AJACCIO – Sound Thursdays of the citadel
For this fourth and final evening organized by Jazz in Aiacciu, meet on Thursday June 4 with Dargz. Singer and composer, he offers a sound halfway between hip-hop, soul, jazz and pop, guided by a single compass: the pure pleasure of creating. CAMPOMORO – Second day of artisans
Saturday May 30, the 2nd edition of Artisans’ Day “Craftsmen’s Day” highlights local know-how in an exceptional setting by the sea. On the program: stands of local artisans and producers, demonstrations, friendly activities for all and traditional games for children. From 7 p.m., the event continues in a festive atmosphere, with a musical evening.
AJACCIO – French Firefighters Football Championship
The 35th French firefighter football championship will be held from Thursday to Saturday. 24 departmental selections are involved, representing the entire French territory, including overseas. 500 participants, 78 matches. The matches will take place on several Ajaccian infrastructures: Sposata, Stiletto, Pietralba and Ange-Casanova stadiums.
SARTÈNE – College students give voice
Wednesday, June 3, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the Polyphonic Art Center of Corsica presents the end-of-year gala of the CHAV Sartè (Classes with Arranged Voice Schedules), at the CAP Auditorium in Sartène. This system allows middle school students, from 6th to 3rd grade, to combine general education and in-depth vocal training during school time. This meeting gives the public the opportunity to discover the work carried out during the 2025-2026 school year with the various speakers: Diana Saliceti (vocal workshops), Joseph Pezet (musical training), Julien Petit (musical education) and Brice Lebert (collective vocal training and coordinator of the system).
