The defense and security professions forum returns from June 4 to 6, 2026 on the Pont du Gard site with many highlights.
The Gard Departmental Military Delegation (DMD30), in partnership with the Pont du Gard site, is organizing the 5th edition of the Defense and Security Professions Forum from June 4 to 6, 2026 on the right bank of the site.
For three days, this exceptional event will bring together nearly forty formations, units and services from the Ministries of the Armed Forces, the Interior and Justice, as well as numerous institutional and associative partners.
Open to the general public, schools and local elected officials, this forum aims to:
- strengthen the Armed Forces-Nation bond;
- introduce you to defense and security professions;
- encourage vocations among young people;
- promote citizen engagement and reserve;
- bring the economic world and the armies closer together.
The Defense and Security Professions Forum pursues several major objectives:
- Promote military and security careers;
- To discover professions accessible to young people;
- Provide information on recruitment pathways;
- Strengthen the link between the armies and the population;
- Develop relationships with businesses;
- Promote the commitment of reservists and defense correspondents;
- Present the operational capabilities of the armed forces and security services.
Animations and highlights
The public will be able to discover:
- presentation stands;
- military and security equipment;
- dynamic demonstrations;
- musical entertainment;
- exchanges with the military, gendarmes, police, firefighters and professionals present.
This 2026 edition will also be marked by several highlights:
- a conference aimed at business leaders;
- an aubade of the Music of the Foreign Legion;
- a white cap ceremony;
- a meeting of Gard defense correspondents;
- the exceptional presence of Marius, former marine commando and sponsor of the event.
