“I swore to myself never to do it…”: Matthieu (MAPR), upset by Laure’s accusations, gives his version of their hearing with the judge

A sad birthday. It’s been a year, Laure, “the heart in pieces” had put an end to a suspense that had lasted too long. For several months, her husband Matthieu, met during season 5 of Married at first sight, no longer appeared on their social networks. The young woman had first explained that her companion had needed to get away from the networks, before finally deciding to let him explain his absence alone. Matthieu ended up revealing that their relationship was in crisis, but that he and Laure were working to find solutions. “I’ve been trying for a long time. To understand, to hold on, to not give up. I hoped. I believed that love could be enough. I asked for time, just a little air, to continue believing in it. But sometimes, by carrying alone, we end up losing ourselves“, she said about their breakup. In the early days of the separation, we could imagine that things were going to go well for the former accomplices determined to achieve the end of their story for the two little girls born from their loves, Lya and Rose. Today, the fragile peace of the early days seems more than compromised.

This Tuesday, June 2, Laure revealed that she had attended a hearing in front of the judge.“It really wasn’t an easy moment. It was a moment that I dreaded.” Laure Larrory had the feeling of no longer recognizing her ex-husband: “I always find it strange to find myself face to face with a person you loved so much and find yourself face to face with a person you no longer know. It’s still special when you get there, when you read what has been written about you, how your ex-partner sees you, it’s really hot…“she added.

Matthieu (MAPR5) : “The divorce is not going very well”

A speech that didn’t really please Matthieu. So he also spoke in an Instagram story, in order to “clarify things”. “The divorce is not going very well, we did not manage to find an amicable agreement, that’s what I wanted the most. (…) In the end, the opposing party decided to go to court. It’s not my choice at all, I was assigned. So I changed lawyers and I am responding to the summons from the opposing party. So I don’t understand when we can complain abouta situation to be initiated ? It’s a bit big“, he first declared. He then mentioned the accusation made by Laure, who indicates that he would have slandered her in the file: “I have never denigrated the mother of my children whether on the networks or on a legal paper and I will never do it. I don’t want to do that. I want to preserve his image for girls, my image for girls.” Matthieu regrets seeing his image tarnished and explains that he now has the feeling of having to be held accountable. To his family first “who asks him what’s going on”to friends and colleagues as well as to its internet community.

As a result of this legal fight, Internet users decided to choose their side, and Matthieu regrets receiving many negative messages. He fiercely deniedand assured that Laure had been able to see that it was a comment written by “a woman, mother of a two-year-old child”. Matthieu also shares a gesture from Laure which deeply hurt him. The young woman would have left a vomiting emoji on Vieira’s name: “Clearly this is a lack of respect towards my family, and towards the girls, since the girls are called Vieira… at some point, I think you have to try to be respectful to everyone.”

Mathieu (MAPR5) has rebuilt his life: “I’m very happy like that…”

Matthieu declares that he has rebuilt his life, started from scratch, and swears that everything is fine. “I’m very happy like that, that’s why I a little removed from the networks“. He regrets being forced to settle his scores publicly. “It can unfortunately cause harm as it does now,” he analyzes, but he assures that he will do it, if he considers it necessary again. “What I want is for things to go well for everyone, I want to denigrate anyone, I just hope that at some point this will calm down and this network war will stop because it’s going nowhere.”

Referring to Laure who has recently been experiencing a new love story, he says: “I hope this person finds peace. In any case, I wish him all the happiness and I hope that one day, everything will calm down…” A wish no doubt also for the community who one day saw them fall in love.
