As the quarter-finals approach in the UEFA Women’s Champions League Fantasy Football, players from the teams that finished in the top four of the league phase standings are joining the winners of the direct elimination phase playoffs to compete for the four spots in the semi-finals of the competition.

This means that players from FC Barcelona, OL Lyonnes, Chelsea, and FC Bayern Munich are back, and as a Fantasy manager, you are entitled to unlimited free transfers to update your team before the first leg matches.

Which Players Are in Form?

Arsenal’s player Chloe Kelly (9.0 M€) and FC Bayern Munich’s Pernille Harder (6.9 M€) both scored twice in their respective national leagues this weekend, with Kelly also providing an assist. Two FC Barcelona players also scored a brace on Saturday, Clàudia Pina (8.5 M€) and Francisca Nazareth (8.8 M€), finding the net twice each in Barcelona’s 7-1 victory over Athletic Club. FC Barcelona had the best attack in the league phase, but their quarter-final opponent, Real Madrid, has not conceded a goal in their last five matches, with goalkeeper Misa Rodríguez (3.8 M€) being solid in every game. Wolfsburg’s Lineth Beerensteyn (7.4 M€) and Manchester United’s Melvine Malard (6.8 M€) are among other offensive options who scored this weekend.

Which Players Are the Top Performers in Fantasy Returning?

Manchester United’s goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce (5.5 M€) leads Fantasy goalkeepers with 34 points, while her teammate Maya Le Tissier (5.8 M€) has gathered more points than any other defender with 54 units. The top Fantasy midfielder, Klara Bühl (8.7 M€), is expected to miss the quarter-finals due to injury, but we can expect Caroline Weir (5.7 M€) to try to add to her 49 points in Real Madrid’s midfield. Alessia Russo (10.6 M€) is both the player with the most points in Fantasy overall with 57 points and the competition’s top scorer; the English forward also has a history of shining in the Women’s Champions League quarter-finals, having scored twice against Real Madrid in the same stage last season.
