Château du Barroux, Ciramarios sings French variety

The Château du Barroux will host, next Saturday May 23, a musical evening hosted by the singer Ciramarios for the benefit of the French Red Cross of Haut-Vaucluse. Between homage to the great voices of French song and commitment to solidarity, this charity concert promises a suspended moment in one of the most beautiful heritage sites in Vaucluse.

Perched at the foot of Ventoux, the Château du Barroux never ceases to seduce artists and visitors with its mineral silhouette dominating the landscapes of Comtat Venaissin. A Mecca of Vaucluse heritage, this medieval fortress turned cultural space will host, on May 23 at 8:30 p.m., a meeting where heritage, music and solidarity will meet in the same emotion. Organized as part of the National Days of the French Red Cross, the evening will benefit from the support of the castle, made available free of charge for the occasion. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the local unit of Haut-Vaucluse in order to support the field missions carried out daily by its volunteers: food aid, support for isolated people, emergency aid or even local social actions.

Ciramarios, a voice nourished by French variety
At the heart of this evening: Ciramarios, an artist with talent anchored in the world of French variety. The singer will offer a show constructed like a journey through the artistic encounters which have marked his career and with which he has collaborated or shared the stage: Serge Lama, Didier Barbelivien, Gérard Lenorman, Florent Pagny, Daniel Lévi or even Fabienne Thibeault An artistic proposition which claims the memory of the texts, the voices and the emotions carried by author and performer artists.

Solidarity as a common thread
At the same time, the event recalls the essential role played by relief and solidarity associations. In Vaucluse, Red Cross volunteers work daily with vulnerable populations in an increasingly tense social context. The association’s National Days constitute, each year, a key moment to raise public awareness, mobilize funds and recall the importance of civic engagement. In many rural or semi-rural areas, these structures also remain the first local relays in the face of social difficulties.

A meeting between heritage and generosity
The concert should also appeal to heritage and culture lovers wishing to discover the Château du Barroux from another side. For several years, the site has multiplied cultural events in order to bring this historic monument to life other than through tourist visits alone. In the setting of ancient stones, the evening promises a timeless atmosphere, conducive to proximity and attentive listening to the artist.
