Spring is setting in in the Toy country and activities are multiplying in Esquiéze-Sère and Luz-Saint-Sauveur to celebrate this flowery and friendly “pretty month of May”. Saturday May 23, the nature festival will enliven the square in front of the Esquiéze-Sère town hall from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Esquieze and Luz school APE is organizing a flower market, an opportunity to flower gardens and balconies or find a gift for Mother’s Day, while supporting the activities of school children.

Around the castle, a nature rally will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. by Ecodels and tour guide Brigitte Bellocq. Lovers of manual creations will also be able to take part in a pressed flower workshop led by Cueillette Coquette, by reservation on 06 19 71 46 20. Refreshment bar and fast food will be available on site throughout the day.

The meetings will continue on May 29 with the big belote competition organized by the Friends of the Two Churches, at 8:30 p.m. in the Esquieze town hall. Many gourmet prizes will be up for grabs.

Finally, in Luz-Saint-Sauveur, the Templars church will host a concert on May 17 at 5 p.m. by the Lavedan choir directed by Mirtha Alcazar Dahhani, accompanied on the piano by Anne-Cécile Dumoulin. Free participation.
