The 2026 program for the Ma Vigne en Musique classical music festival is known. The editorial staff of L’Indépendant explains everything you need to know about the first dates of this cultural event, with concerts on several sites well known to Languedoc wine lovers.
Combine classical music with emblematic places in Narbonnais. This is the known concept of this artistic event which will celebrate its tenth edition this year.
The Ma vigne en musique festival will begin on Saturday May 23 with an open-air opening concert at 6 p.m. in the sublime setting of the Château de Bugadelles located between Fleury-d’Aude and Saint-Pierre-la-Mer. On the program in this place which deserves to be known: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons by the Toulouse chamber orchestra, but also Nicolas Bacri’s Concerto lirico for clarinet and orchestra “with a world premiere, the festival’s first order in terms of live music”details Cyril Guillotin, director of the event.

This first evening will end with Mozart’s Concerto in A major for clarinet and orchestra with the presence of Pierre Génisson, world figure of the clarinet. This concert will be held in partnership with the Rotary e-club Occitanie Atlas, making it possible to collect donations for the defense of children. After helping those affected by the fires in 2025, the festival management continues its commitment to the causes close to its heart.
The second date of this 2026 opus will take place on Friday June 12 at the Catherine de Montgolfier estate in Narbonne with a “Classico tango” evening. “It will involve combining musical repertoire and narration with melodies by Robert Schumann and the love letters of Robert and Clara Schumann, for an immersive and warm experience with Karine Deshayes, one of the greatest international mezzo-sopranos. The works will dialogue with the words, the rhythms will intertwine, and the music will tell stories imbued with passion and sensitivity”presents Cyril Guillotin. Karine Deshayes will be accompanied for the occasion by Radio Classique journalist and storyteller Jean-Michel Dhuez, by Johan Farjot on piano, by Rémi Poulakis on accordion and Lucas Holguin on double bass.
Please note that this year, shuttles will leave and join Narbonne to take audiences to the concert venues. More information on the Facebook of the Ma vigne en musique Festival.
