In a white Vivienne Westwood dress, Apple Martin decided to celebrate her graduation. On Friday, April 30, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow, who had been studying at Vanderbilt University since 2022, shared several photos of her graduation on Instagram. In the photos, the 21-year-old woman poses with one of her friends sitting on a brown leather sofa, wearing a mortarboard, the famous hat worn by American graduates.
In the next photo, she is lying on the same sofa, with sunglasses on her eyes while holding the black cap in her hands. She is also seen reading a book in the university library, dressed in her robe over her white dress. In the last image, she is with her friends, who seem to be members of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority to which she belongs, reading books in the same library, dressed in their young graduate uniform.
“A bittersweet moment. How lucky we are to have these memories,” wrote Apple Martin in the caption of her post. The young girl’s outfit was also very symbolic. In fact, she wanted to pay homage to her British roots by wearing an outfit made by the Vivienne Westwood fashion house. And she chose white because this color has long been a symbol of new beginnings, even though not all graduates today necessarily follow this tradition.

While Apple Martin has not revealed her plans for the next year, her fans can already count on the career she has started building as a model. In October 2025, she collaborated with her mother on an advertising campaign for Gap featuring their new fall-winter collection. Shortly after, she participated in her first major fashion shoot for the Self-Portrait Cruise 2026 collection.
More recently, she also graced the cover of the magazine “Perfect.” “Wow, what an incredible day! Thank you all so much for this opportunity. I can’t believe it’s true,” she wrote in a comment on a post where the magazine shared a photo of her on the cover. While she has not decided to follow the same path as her mother in the cinema, there is no doubt that her career as a model is only just beginning.
