OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – First Alert 6 has the headlines you need to know to get your Wednesday started.
Isolated severe storms possible Wednesday, Rusty says Wednesday is a First Alert 6 Weather Day due to increased potential for a couple of isolated but very strong storms to develop.
“Wind, hail and a tornado are possible for any of the few storms that are able to get going,” Senior Chief Meteorologist Rusty Lord says.
Rusty says around 2 p.m. the radar shows 1-2 storms on the map but a high potential for those storms to be severe after they develop. Many of us will end up dry Wednesday due to the limited coverage of the storms.
“By the evening the weather will quiet down and some cooler air will settle in,” Rusty says.
