From June 19 to 20, 2026, the first edition of the International Festival of Collective Intelligence, or “FEST’IC”, will take place, organized by the general interest association Visions Collectives. The event will take place at the International Center for Arts in Motion and is aimed at everyone: citizens, local communities, families, associations and businesses. “As it is at CIAM, there will be a festive dimension. Circus activities and workshops will be planneds. There will also be a musical evening to close the event on Saturday 20“, précise Bruno Morel, coprésident de l’association Visions Collectives.
The objective of this festival is to raise awareness of collective intelligence, a notion which remains abstract for the majority. “With what is happening in the world, our vision is to create a dialogue, so that people can talk to each other. I am convinced that if this discussion were introduced into national and international policies, we would live in a slightly more harmonious world.“, he assures.
Through workshops, participatory conferences and round tables, everyone will be able to explore new ways of thinking. “The festival will bring together more than 80 speakers specializing in certain aspects of collective intelligence, in the most global sense of the term.“, adds the co-president.
“Une oasis éphémère de fraternité”
At FEST’IC, visitors will be able to wander between each stand and workshops according to their curiosity. The program is deployed around six major themes: ecology and transition, participatory democracy, governance of organizations, living together, AI and collective intelligence and the art of relationships. “These themes obviously have a link with the notion of collective intelligence. We think about how this intelligence will interact with them,” underlines Bruno Morel.
This first edition of the festival received the sponsorship of Edgar Morin. “We are very happy, honored and proud of this sponsorship”, assures Bruno Morel. “We carry within us this vision that he had of fraternity. Our ambition is to make this moment an ephemeral oasis of fraternity.“
Question, imagine and open up to new possibilities: these two days are a time to connect with others, rediscover the desire to act and discover the strength of the collective. “Having this ability to imagine the solutions and actions that emerge from a group is the heart of the collective. When we all think together, we have an emergence of ideas that go beyond what anyone could have. imagine“, concludes Bruno Morel.
