Ben Kovac (1.95 m, 26 years old) will no longer wear the ALMÂ Evreux jersey next season. The Norman club announced the departure of its Luxembourg international, who arrived during the 2025 off-season to discover the ELITE 2.

In its press release, the ALM welcomed the investment of its player, presented as a model teammate and co-captain. His next destination has not been communicated.

This departure marks the end of a single-season stint in the Eure for a player who had joined Évreux with a real rating after his successful exercise in Nationale 1.

A pari venu de Besançon

Before arriving at Évreux, Ben Kovac was coming off a remarkable season with Besançon Avenir Comtois in NM1. The ALM then launched its 2025-2026 recruitment with a profile already identified as one of the interesting offensive players on the lower level.

With BesAC, the Luxembourg winger averaged 15.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 32 minutes. A production which allowed him to take a step towards the ELITE 2.

His journey is not limited to France. Trained in Luxembourg, notably at Basket Esch, Ben Kovac then went to the Den Helder Suns, in the Netherlands, then to the Patrioti Levice, in Slovakia, where he also experienced the FIBA ​​Europe Cup. A Luxembourg international, he was also regularly referenced in FIBA ​​campaigns with his selection.

Solid statistics for his first season in ELITE 2

For his discovery of ELITE 2 with Évreux, the French-speaking player played 35 championship matches. He compiled 9.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists for a 9.3 rating in 22 minutes on average, with 44.2% shooting success and 30.4% from 3-point range.
