At 25 years old, Morgane Plévenage is a young woman with varied skills and interests. Holder of a Master’s degree in Health Biology, passionate about sport, attached to her territory and committed to several causes that are close to her heart, the young woman from Bagnols-sur-Cèze will defend her place in the Miss International France 2026 election on June 27 in Narbonne.
Candidate No. 6, she is approaching this new stage with a very specific idea in mind: using the visibility offered by the competition to raise public awareness of subjects that deeply affect her, such as mental health, medical research or even support for seriously ill children.
Born in Bagnols-sur-Ceze and now based in Pont-Saint-Esprit, Morgane remains very attached to the Rhone Gard where she grew up. After completing her schooling at the Albert-Einstein high school in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, she continued her studies in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region and then in Ile-de-France. For several years, she evolved in a university environment which led her to obtain a Master’s degree in Health Biology. A choice that is not a coincidence. Indeed, sciences and the medical field have always occupied an important place in his life. Fascinated by research and by all the advances that make it possible to improve patient care, she naturally chose to move towards this sector. Throughout her career, she joined several laboratories and research institutes where she contributed, on her own scale, to advancing medical knowledge. “Very early on, the medical world and scientific research became obvious to me,” she explains.
After several years spent far from her native region, Morgane returned to settle in Gard a few months ago. A return to her roots that she particularly appreciates, surrounded by her family and loved ones. But the young woman is not defined only by her professional career. Behind the scientist also hides a dynamic personality, curious and deeply focused on others.
Passionate about photography, sensitive to human encounters and experiences that create connections, she attaches particular importance to well-being and personal development, a philosophy that she applies in particular through sport.
Running, revenge for lack of confidence
Today, it’s hard to imagine that running could have been a source of apprehension for Morgane. However, for a long time, she convinced herself that this sport was simply not for her. Like many people, she experienced periods of doubt and a lack of self-confidence which sometimes slowed her ambitions. Then one day, she decided to try, with the sole aim of proving to herself that she was capable of it.
What was initially just a personal challenge gradually becomes a true passion.
Today, running is an integral part of her daily life and her life balance, it becomes, for her, an essential moment, a space of freedom and well-being. “Running allowed me to regain self-confidence and move forward with more strength,” she confides. Through her experience, she wishes to convey a simple message: everyone has resources that they do not necessarily suspect.
“I would like to encourage those who doubt themselves to believe in their abilities, to dare to start and to understand that it is never too late to discover yourself stronger than you imagine.”
Running for the dreams of sick children
This desire to give meaning to her actions pushed her to participate in the Adidas 10K Paris for the benefit of Make-A-Wish France this Sunday June 7, 2026.
The association makes the wishes of seriously ill children aged 3 to 18 come true in order to offer them moments of hope, happiness and escape in a daily life often punctuated by care and treatment. In France, more than 8,000 children are diagnosed each year with a serious illness and the association today make a wish come true every two days.
For Morgane, this choice was a natural one. “I didn’t just want to run for myself. I wanted to give a deeper meaning to this experience.” Through this race and the associated collection, she wishes to contribute in her own way to the actions carried out by the association, but also to highlight families confronted with the disease. Because beyond the symbolic gesture, she is convinced that commitment must translate into concrete actions.
As part of its participation in the Adidas 10K Paris, a solidarity collection was set up for the benefit of Make-A-Wish France. Each donation contributes to supporting the association’s actions and helping to make the dreams of seriously ill children come true.
