RC Vannes continues to strengthen for next season in Top 14. Mills Sanerivi will strengthen the Morbihan first line. This season, the 26-year-old hooker played for Moana Pasifika, a New Zealand Super Rugby club which announced its dissolution a few months ago.

New Zealand and United States

A Samoan international since November 2025 (3 matches), Sanerivi traveled to New Zealand: Taranaki Bulls (NPC, 19 matches), Chiefs (Super Rugby, 1 match), Auckland (NPC, 17 matches) before the Moana Pasifika (Super Rugby, 26 matches). He also played in the United States, in Major League Rugby (MLR), with the New England Free Jacks franchise (31 matches), based in Quincy, near Boston (Massachusetts). This season, the hooker has played 16 matches, including 15 as a starter. He strengthens a position already filled with Scottish international Dave Cherry, Théo Béziat and Hayam El Bibouji.

Eighth recruit of RC Vannes

This is the eighth RCV recruit after Ugo Boniface (left pillar, Bordeaux Bègles, 2029), Thomas Ployet (second line, Grenoble, 2029), Ioane Iashagashvili (3rd line, Mont-de-Marsan, 2028), Pierre Popelin (flyhalf, Castres, 2029), Nathanaël Hulleu (winger, Castres, 2029), Simione Kuruvoli (scrumhalf, Fijian Drua, 2028) and Matias Alemanno (second row, Gloucester, 2028).
