L’an passé à Aubigné-Racan (Sarthe), they were two people from Sarthe to join the ten or so international volunteers for the restoration of the stone wall of the cemetery. This year, to complete the second part of the wall, four places remain: so why not you?
In this town in southern Sarthe, an international camp of young volunteers is looking for candidates
For the second year, the town of Aubigné-Racan is joining forces with thecompany Royer Bâtiment and the device Concordia to offer young locals the opportunity to discover masonry during the international volunteer worksite.
“The idea is that local young people can discover a company that is recruiting while mingling with internationals. They will live three weeks in total immersion, sleep at the campsite, interact with them and, of course, complete the restoration of the stone wall started last year,” explains Gilles Menantdevelopment manager at the municipality.

“I wasn’t going on vacation this summer, so I figured it would be like a vacation for me. It allows me to meet people and have fun with young people my age,” testified last year Bryana Sarthois who participated in the construction site.
