Cap d’Agde: the International Showcase 2026 wants to open the doors of American universities to young tennis talents
From June 8 to 10, 2026, the French Touch Academy in Cap d’Agde will host the Showcase International 2026, an event dedicated to young tennis players wishing to combine a sporting career and university studies in the United States.
Organized jointly by Process US Consulting and the French Touch Academy, this meeting will bring together players from all over the world for three days as well as coaches from American universities and sports recruitment specialists.
The objective: to allow participants to get noticed by American university programs while discovering the numerous opportunities offered by the sports and academic system across the Atlantic.
Already, more than 34 players and around ten university coaches have confirmed their presence.
Among the universities represented are Boise State, Purdue University, Wyoming, LMU, Northwestern, Cal Poly, Alabama State, Pepperdine, Arizona State and Ole Miss.
The showcase will offer matches and evaluation situations inspired by American recruitment methods. The players will be observed on their technical, tactical, physical and mental qualities, in particular through evaluations linked to the UTR (Universal Tennis Rating).
Beyond sporting performances, the event will also offer personalized advice on the academic and sporting approaches necessary to integrate an American university, with the key to potential recruitment opportunities and sports scholarships.
For the organizers, this showcase represents a real bridge between high-level tennis and American higher education, a model which is attracting more and more young French athletes.
