Is a man really at his best when he is filmed in a suit, but in socks? When we see him struggling, on all fours, his face red and his tie hanging, to try to painfully get his hands on two snakes? Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has in any case found his account. This Tuesday, May 26, on his X account, the American Secretary of Health and Human Services published a video of him catching what he describes as a “pair of black snakes” on the “patio” of “Dr. Oz”the star surgeon from TV shows who became head of the Medicare and Medicaid programs, a key position in the health sector. All while “Cheryl (Hines, the minister’s wife, Editor’s note) encourages him”.
Lasting 49 seconds, the unusual video shows Robert Kennedy Jr approaching the two reptiles moving around in a corner of the terrace, struggling to catch them as they squirm so much, finally grabbing them, then displaying them in front of the camera, a big smile on his lips. On several occasions, the snakes balk and try to bite the minister. What they manage to do, at the level of the hands, if we are to believe their gestures. But if they really are snakes, for example Coluber constrictor, a species widespread in the United States, then they are not venomous. Not enough to reassure Cheryl Hines: “Dear, dear!”, “You are crazy!”, “Let them go!”, “Bobby if you like it!”we hear it between two «Oh mon Dieu !». The snakes “were mating!â€suggests another voice off-camera.
