The competition season began at the start of the year but the first major meeting takes place from Friday May 15 to Sunday May 17. For the very first time, the Haras national du Pin was selected by the French Equestrian Federation to host a stage of its prestigious Grand National FFE-AC Print circuit in the show jumping discipline. “We are the 4e étape du Grand Nationalspecifies David Jollivet, director of the International Equestrian Sports Center (PISE) at Haras du Pin. It’s important for us, it will demonstrate that Haras du Pin can organize high-level show jumping.”he rejoices.
The return of the full international event
Also note this year, the return of the international event from July 29 to August 2, formerly organized by the Ustica association and absent from the calendar for several years. The PISE has decided to take back the reins. “Evening has contributed to the reputation of the stud farm, it is part of our DNA. We are going to reconnect with the international side, which will allow us, in the future, to gain momentum. We simply have to get the machine back on track.”explains David Jollivet.
In June, the stud will also host its very first international 3-star level show jumping competition (CSI3*), before the international driving competition on 1is to July 5. “Riders are often amazed by the quality of our facilities. The goal is that the site can live and shine throughout the year, in addition to its historical aspect”concludes the director of PISE.
