The ADAC MX Masters, launched in 2005, is the main German motocross championship. It is organized by the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC). It takes place each year in spring and summer, and generally includes seven to eight rounds organized in Germany: “In 2025, the situation has changed”, underlines Alain Roeckel, long-time member of UM Bitchoise, who has become the club’s handyman. “After fruitful discussions with the championship management and a visit to our facilities, the Martinsthal circuit in Bitche joined the program: it is the only race outside Germany of the season,” he continues. Organized at the end of summer in 2025, the race weekend has been brought forward to May for this new season. Bitche will be the third stage of the 2026 financial year, which has seven in total.

A platter of choice

For this new race weekend in Bitche, more than 200 drivers of 18 different nationalities, all categories combined, from the best European spheres and international MXGP, will be there: “One thing is certain: the level will be very high. This championship is located just below the World Championship. There will be a great show.”

Three categories of drivers will be represented in Bitche: “There will be the MX Masters (450 cc), the premier category, bringing together professional drivers of international level; the Youngster Cup (250cc), which most often brings together young aspiring professionals under the age of 21; and the Junior Cup 125 (125 cc), made up of young hopefuls. During the weekend, these three categories will participate in free practice, qualifying and several races: “Spectators will be able to attend everything.” In parallel with the sporting aspect, UM Bitchoise took care of the event: “Various exhibitors from the world of motorcycles will have stands, children will be able to learn about motorcycling on a small circuit, there will be something to eat and we will even welcome Red Bull, one of the biggest partners of the championship,” concludes Alain Roeckel. More than 150 volunteers will be involved throughout the weekend.

There will be a great show!
