On May 2 and 3, 2026, the Provins Rugby Club in Provins, Seine-et-Marne, will be organizing the 20th edition of its historic international tournament “Les Médi’Ovales.” Who will succeed the Franco-Belgian league in the U14 category and the Belgian club Boisfort in the U16 category?

After a parade around the stadium at 10:00 AM, 16 clubs will participate in the competition held at the Raymond-Vitte sports complex.

English Teams Hold Record Victories at Provins’ Médi’Ovales

In the U14 category, Scottish team Lenzie RFC, Irish team Connemara RFC, Czech team Tatra Smichov, Belgian team Brussel Celtic, will be facing off against English teams Norwich RFC and Old Alleynians RFC, as well as French teams Provins, Rugby sud 77, Sens, and Pont-Ã-Mousson.

In the U16 category, French teams Provins, Meaux, Coulommiers, Rugby sud 77, and Rugby Club Saint-Pol will compete against Dutch team Haagsche Rugby Club, Belgian team Brussel Celtic, German team Rhein Main Barbarians, and English team Newark RFC.

In the past nineteen editions, with the first one taking place in 2004, England has been the most successful country in the medieval city tournament, winning six times in both U14 and U16 categories!

The tournament will be held at the Raymond-Vitte sports complex in Provins. Entry is free, and food will be available on-site.
