4th edition.

On the Pentecost weekend, from 22 to 24 May, Albas will once again resonate with the sounds of the accordion. For the 4th edition of the international accordion festival, the Triple A association offers a festive and joyful atmosphere around the “piano accordion”, named the instrument of the year 2026. With the Finnish Maria Kalaniemi and the Austrian Otto Lechner, the international flavor of the festival is guaranteed.

Among others, the duo Arnotto (Arnaud Méthivier and Otto Lechner) who already livened up the atmosphere at the 2024 festival, the Quidam Trio, the show “One day by the sea” with Emilie Cadiou and Michela Alegi complete the program. “Jingling Bells in the Feet” and the group Gro offer an initiation to dance and a joyful and dancing evening on Saturday (meal provided by Triple A, reservation strongly recommended). Open bellows and open stage throughout the festival allow for moments of musical and convivial encounters.

A masterclass, led by Thierry Roques, godparent of the festival, and with the participation of Maria Kalaniemi, Otto Lechner, and Arnaud Méthivier, is also offered. For the closing concert on Sunday evening at the Albas church, Maria Kalaniemi will play the first part solo. For the second part, Otto, Arnaud, Thierry and the students of the masterclass will join her.

Come and enjoy festive, inspiring, and maybe even magical moments at the 4th edition of the international accordion festival in Albas. Free participation for all events. Food and drinks available on site all weekend.
