Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum stated that Turkey is strengthening its diplomatic role on the international scene. The forum brought together thousands of international leaders and officials, including 23 heads of state, 13 deputy leaders, and 50 ministers from 150 countries and 66 international organizations.
The three-day event hosted 6,400 participants in 52 sessions focusing on major international crises from the Asia-Pacific to Latin America, Europe, and Central Asia. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and top Turkish officials held numerous bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the event.
A quadripartite meeting involving Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Pakistan centered on regional stability, economic cooperation, and conflict resolution. Minister Fidan emphasized a realistic and applicable regional agenda, rejecting the idea of forming a military alliance in favor of stability, economic development, and conflict resolution.
The discussions also highlighted the commitment of six majority-Muslim countries to a sustainable peace plan for Gaza. The Antalya Diplomacy Forum’s role as a significant platform for international dialogue in a context of escalating global tensions was reaffirmed.
