This Friday, June 19, 2026, Ille-et-Vilaine is preparing to welcome Catherine Vautrin. It is first to Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande, near Rennes, that the Minister of the Armed Forces, to visit the new premises of the Cyber Defense Command (COMCYBER), inaugurated in June 2025.

The war of the future at the heart of the visit
This trip therefore focuses on defense artificial intelligence et cyber defense.
During her stay in Bruz, Catherine Vautrin will discover the leading expert center in electronic warfare and nav-war (CERGEN), including the presentation of “equipment enabling training in jamming conditions comparable to those encountered in the various conflict zones, in Ukraine or in the Near and Middle East,” explains the Ministry of the Armed Forces.
AI and “roboticization of the battlefield” will be at the heart of the discussions.
An autonomous robotic unit
Finally, the highlight of this ministerial visit will be that of “ the exceptional presentation of the Pendragon project ».
