This architecture, carried…
This architecture, supported by the flagship AXS-µ1 product, convinced NATO: among 120 candidate companies, Aerix Systems was selected in the 2026 cohort of the DIANA program, in the “Anti-drone fight” category.
This recognition is accompanied by accelerated industrial deployment, financed by a SEED fundraising of 5 million euros led by Odyssée Ventures at the end of 2025: opening of a 700 m² site in Gironde, workforce increased from 20 to 30 employees by the end of 2026, and a strong order book until 2027.
Equipped with omnidirectional rotors, Aerix Systems’ ultra-maneuverable drones are of interest to defense players. Aerix Systems
The giant KNDS validates anti-drone technology
The last global defense and security exhibition, Eurosatory, was an opportunity for Aerix Systems to formalize several partnerships, notably with the English company Vizgard (AI associated with anti-drone solutions), the Cypriot SignalGenerix (digital signal processing and communications for the development of a net capture solution). The most strategic of them undoubtedly concerns the European leader in land armaments KNDS: Aerix Systems has been appointed to equip an armored vehicle with its range of Aerix Systems drones as part of the Franco-German group’s “TARGAS” anti-drone program.
The Bordeaux company has in its catalog four products available for some or only targeted at defense markets: the AXS-S, a drone dedicated to advanced inspection, the AXS-F1, designed as a SHORAD system (armament adapted to in-flight interception of small multiple objectives such as drones or missiles), AXS-µ1 and finally the AXS-FC, an “in-house” avionics card available in civil and military versions.
Enough to reinforce Aerix Systems’ ambition to establish itself as a tier 1 equipment manufacturer in the drone industry. If its production tool (which will be officially inaugurated next October) already occupies 800 m² in Saint-Jean-d’Illac, very close to Bordeaux, the increase in the production rate of its aircraft should fairly quickly require a larger production tool.
