Donald Trump assured Thursday June 11 thatn “very good agreement” had been concluded with Iran and could be signed this weekend in Europe. A spectacular turnaround a few hours after threatening to launch new strikes. “We have just reached a very good agreement to end the war with Iran and once the documents are finalized, which should be done in the next few days, we will probably have a signature, perhaps in Europe.”he said at the White House.

The American president, however, gave no details on the content of this compromise, other than that it ensured an immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz after signing, and the impossibility for Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed this information on X, specifying that Israel was not part of the agreement. “The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for (US) President Trump’s commitment that the final agreement, at the end of negotiations, will include the elimination of enriched uranium, the dismantling of enrichment infrastructure, limits on missile production, as well as an end to Iran’s support for its terrorist proxies in the region”he wrote, following an interview between the two men.
