The book was not advertised anywhere. It will be released this June 10 by Éditions La Tribu signed by Audrey Millet, a historian specializing in fashion. In “Bernard Arnault, his pitiless universe”, this researcher tells the detailed story, in a very documented manner, how the son of a construction entrepreneur became, at the head of the immense LVMH group, one of the richest men on the planet. From his birth in Roubaix in 1949 to the inauguration ceremony of Donald Trump, where he occupied one of the places of honor, including the takeover of Boussac, the affair of the surveillance of the newspaper “Fakir” and his entry into the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences in Last January, it is the story of an irresistible rise which forms, in passing, a chapter in the history of contemporary capitalism.
