The French start-up Mistral, specializing in artificial intelligence (AI), announced Thursday a partnership with the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus and the German car manufacturer BMW to apply AI to industrial processes, including simulation for engineering.
“We are very excited about the deployment of AI in the physical world”commented the boss of Mistral, Arthur Mensch, during a press conference.

📠Michelin announces a voluntary departure plan in France
The French group Michelin, world leader in tires, announced Thursday a voluntary departure system in France covering “up to 1,500 positions over three years”.
“Up to 1,500 positions could be eliminated” in France, including “two thirds in tertiary functions and one third in industry”personnel director France and Southern Europe, Olivier Faure-Vauris, told AFP.

📠Oil prices rebound after new US strikes in Iran
Oil prices rebounded Thursday after new US strikes against Iran despite a fragile ceasefire, as diplomatic efforts to end the war continue.
Around 9:25 a.m. GMT (11:25 a.m. in Paris), the price of barrel of Brent from the North Seafor delivery in July, gained 2.06% to 96.23 dollars. Its American equivalent, the baril de West Texas Intermediatefor delivery the same month, took 2.20% to 90.63 dollars.
The rise follows declines on Wednesday, fueled by hopes of an imminent deal to end the war in the Middle East, which has paralyzed maritime traffic in the strategic Strait of Hormuz for months.
THE European stock exchanges opened with a slight decline on Thursday. After a few minutes of trading, London fell the most sharply (-0.75%), followed by Paris (-0.29%) and Frankfurt (-0.22%). Milan kept its balance point (-0.02%).
