About CND:

Placed under the direct authority of the Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans, a central digital player for the armies, departments and services, the CND brings together the shared digital structures and skills of the ministry. It responds to two imperatives: simplifying a complex organization and structuring coherent action in a changing digital environment, serving the operational superiority of the forces as well as the daily functioning of the ministry and its transformation.

The CND brings together in a single structure the 6,700 men and women, and the skills of:

» la Direction générale du numérique,
“the Joint Directorate of Infrastructure Networks and Information Systems,
» l’Agence du numérique de Défense.

The CND thus aims to provide France with an efficient, resilient, interoperable and data-centric digital defense system. Capable of meeting the most demanding challenges, it must also serve as a lever for daily efficiency. To achieve this, the CND aims to be strategic, attractive and daring to transform opportunities into concrete achievements.
