The American army announced that it had boarded an Iranian-flagged oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman suspected of trying to circumvent the American blockade of Iranian ports, adding that it had hijacked 91 vessels in total to enforce compliance with this measure.

The main Iranian negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, accused the United States of wanting to restart the war, while still hoping for a surrender by the Islamic Republic. “The enemy’s maneuvers, both public and behind the scenes, show that, despite economic and political pressures, it has not renounced its military objectives and seeks to start a new war.”declared the man who is also the President of Parliament in an audio message relayed by the Iranian media.

3:33 p.m. – Iran says it allowed 26 ships to pass through Hormuz
The Navy of the Revolutionary Guards, Iran’s ideological army, claimed to have authorized more than 25 ships, including oil tankers, to transit the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours. “In the last 24 hours, 26 ships – including oil tankers, container ships and other commercial vessels – have passed through the Strait of Hormuz.”indicated the Navy of the Revolutionary Guards on X.
