Military operations continue despite the truce announced in Ukraine. The Ukrainian General Staff recorded, in a report published on Sunday May 10, 147 armed clashes in the last 24 hours. According to this same source, the Russian army carried out on Saturday, the first of the three days of the ceasefire, 7,704 drone strikes and 2,021 artillery bombardments on Ukrainian localities or positions. These attacks injured at least nine civilians in Ukraine, including a child, according to kyiv.

The Russian army, for its part, accused Ukrainian forces on Sunday of having carried out 676 artillery and tank strikes, 6,331 drone strikes and eight infantry attacks on the front in 24 hours.

American President Donald Trump announced Friday evening a three-day ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia starting Saturday. But the belligerents accuse each other, on both sides, of not respecting it.
