Israel continues to strike heavily in Lebanon. Over 200 targets have been hit in the last 24 hours. Some with the help of drones, like a destroyed vehicle in the suburbs of Beirut (Lebanon), on the morning of Wednesday, April 15. But there is also the coastal region of South Lebanon, near Tyre, where some villages are partially destroyed.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army continues its ground offensive on the 44th day of this war against Hezbollah. Near the border, the village of Yiftah (Israel), too close to the fighting, is almost deserted. Schools are closed. Liat Angel, a mother of four, is waiting for one thing: the end of the war. “I am exhausted. We live in constant fear of explosions. It’s like being on the battlefield,” she says.

On Wednesday, 50 projectiles from the pro-Iranian Shiite militia were intercepted in the northern sky of Israel. Israel Bitton, a winemaker, lives on the front line. He too does not want to leave his land, even though he has suffered in the past from enemy fire that destroyed his vats. “We don’t want war, we just want to live here, peacefully and safely,” he asserts. As the fighting continues, everyone here is waiting for negotiations between Israel and Lebanon to at least result in a ceasefire.
