On a video broadcast by the CBS channel, two military aircraft, Growler EA-18G of the navy, can be seen colliding with each other and spiraling down before the cockpits open and four parachutes deploy.

Two military planes collided on Sunday at an air show in the northwest United States, but no one was injured, according to spectacular images broadcast by American media.

“An aviation incident occurred at Mountain Home Air Force Base during the Gunfighter Skies air show,” said the event organizers on their website in Idaho.

In the video, the two Growler EA-18G aircraft hit each other and spiral out of control before the cockpit doors open and four parachutes are deployed. The planes crash on the ground with a massive explosion, releasing black smoke, while the parachutes land apparently safely.

A similar incident at an air show in Reno, Nevada in 2011 resulted in 11 deaths and at least 60 injuries when a World War II aircraft crashed into the crowd of spectators.
