“During the night, US forces carried out, without incident, a right to visit, a maritime interception, and an inspection aboard the sanctioned tanker M/T Tifani”
, detailed the American Defense Ministry. Images of the assault were disclosed. The ship is indeed linked to Iran.
The tanker was reportedly intercepted in the Indian Ocean.“It’s a boat that had to be questioned and did not respond, or did so incorrectly. We are in international waters, applying maritime law”
