– The dismantling of Hezbollah, an ally of Tehran, is the main goal of negotiations between Israel and Lebanon, said Benyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday night, following direct talks between the two countries under the auspices of the United States in Washington.
– The White House says it is discussing a second round of negotiations with Iran, again in Pakistan, after the failure of a first round over the weekend in Islamabad.
– The Israeli army has been ordered to kill any Hezbollah fighter found between the Israel-Lebanon border and the Litani River, about thirty kilometers to the north.
