On Saturday, May 30th, the Lalbenque Basketball Club will be celebrating its tenth anniversary. The event will begin at 2 pm with an exhibition match of the U18 girls Lalbenque-Pradines team, games for all ages, a refreshment stand with sweet treats; at 7 pm, a toast to friendship will be open to all; at 8 pm, a meal with music, burgers, apple pie, wine, and coffee included. This season, the U11 girls played at level A, the U13 girls finished second in their departmental league, and the U18 girls placed fourth in their interdepartmental league and were runners-up in the Quercy-Garonne Committee final against the St. Nauphary team. The upcoming 2026-2027 season will be 100% female with mini-basketball for U9 and U11, and championships for U13, U15, and U18 categories. To prepare for the new season, the club has launched the “Invite your friends” operation, allowing people to try basketball for free at the end of this season.
