At the heart of the event, the Issy Biltoki Hall will host all the activities, including the discovery of pickleball, a rapidly growing sport that is now competing with paddle tennis. Accessible to everyone, this sport blends elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is played on a smaller court, with a solid paddle and a perforated ball, for fast and fun exchanges.
Particularly suited for all audiences, pickleball promotes interactions and social connections, fostering intergenerational relationships. Parents, children, and seniors can share the court in a playful and friendly atmosphere.
This activity is offered year-round at the Issy Sport School where it has been very successful. Children progress quickly and fully embrace this practice, attracted by its accessibility and collective aspect.
During this event, supervised initiations will be offered by Issy Sport in partnership with the Issy Hall, which will also provide musical entertainment and a variety of international cuisine from its 14 vendors. An ideal setting to combine sports, relaxation, and the pleasure of getting together.
At the same time, the City of Sports will highlight its new facility with the opening of pickleball courts on the roof of the Christiane Guillaume Hall, accessible for rental, offering an original and unique environment to practice this discipline.
Between sports discoveries, festive activities, and moments of sharing, this Roland-Garros weekend promises to be a must-attend event. Whether you are a tennis enthusiast or simply curious to try a new activity, mark your calendar for May 30th at the Issy Biltoki Hall and on sunny days at the Christiane Guillaume Hall.
– Saturday, May 30th from 12pm – Issy Biltoki Hall – 1 rue Rouget de Lisle
