The next municipal council meeting for the town of Chenôve will take place on Monday, April 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall council chamber in Chenôve. Several items are scheduled on the agenda.

Elected officials will first address several important appointments: replacements within municipal commissions, elections for the tender committee, and representatives of the municipality in various external organizations. The council will also vote on the adoption of the internal regulations, which set out the operating rules of the assembly.

Financial decisions will take a significant portion of the agenda, including the approval of the 2025 financial statement, allocation of results, setting of tax rates for 2026, and adoption of the original budget. Subsidies to associations and the Community Social Action Center (CAS) will also be part of the discussions.

The council members will work on the management of municipal facilities, rental regulations for halls, as well as the review of acquisitions and disposals of assets. A deliberation will focus on a section of the parking area on Longvic Street, including the initiation of administrative procedures prior to its reassignment and removal from public domain.

Several conventions will be submitted for a vote to strengthen youth-oriented activities. These include signing a convention between the town of Chenôve and the Mediation and Prevention Association in Dijon, as well as renewing the partnership with the Local Mission. Furthermore, conventions related to the “Open School” program, offering educational activities to students outside school hours, will be presented for council approval.

Sport, culture, and community life will also be central to the agenda. Council members will decide on the allocation of the sports budget for 2026. Various conventions will be examined to allow high schools in the region to use municipal sports facilities in partnership with the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region.

Culturally, the city aims to continue and enhance its efforts for accessible cultural activities for all. This will involve renewing partnerships with business committees, social structures, and healthcare and educational facilities, along with approving a convention between the François Mitterrand Media Library and ACODEGE.

Lastly, the council will address the training rights of elected officials, changes in municipal staff numbers, and the appointment of a new daycare manager.
