The district championships are taking a break, with some calendar updates on the agenda. The Thau basin is of little concern. For the Balaruc reserve team of Bastien Verdalle and Jean-Philippe Hummel, Sunday afternoon is their chance to climb up the rankings against the bottom team, Red Star Olympique de Cournonterral. After a promising start in the D3 championship, they faced a rough patch that they had to overcome at the beginning of spring. A win would place them back in the top half of the standings.

On other fields, matches will also be played in the Cup and Challenge. Thau is particularly in the spotlight this weekend, with some teams ready to showcase their skills. The U18 team from Lapeyradois will play on Saturday at 6:00 PM in Mauguio.

In Mèze, the local women’s team will face Vendargues on Sunday at 10:30 AM for a spot in the final of the Maurice-Balsan Women’s Challenge.

At the same time and nearby, at Sesquier, the U16 team from Loupian-Mèze will take on the Atlas-Paillade team to secure a spot in the final of the Hérault Cup. The U17 teams from Mèze and Loupian will compete in Jacou at 3:00 PM, also in the semi-final of the Hérault Cup.

This Sunday at 3:00 PM: St. Balaruc II / Cournonterral.
